Assistant Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Wallace Well Farm, Nova Business Park, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, on-site hospitality role.

Salary: £31,000–£34,750 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of a busy Farmhouse Inn.
• Lead shifts, set customer service standards and step up during the General Manager’s absence.
• Coach, motivate and develop the hospitality team through visible leadership and strong communication.
• Drive sales across food, drinks, carvery service and family-focused customer occasions.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, food safety, health and safety and compliance.
• Support events, busy trading periods and community-focused activities while building customer relationships.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong people-management, communication, coaching and team-development skills.
• Confidence managing a busy operation, prioritising effectively and leading by example.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in growing the business.
• Passion for hospitality, food and high-quality customer service.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on, fast-paced and family-friendly hospitality environment.
