Principal Estimator (Energy)

What you will do

• Lead the preparation and delivery of capital cost estimates across studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects.
• Define estimating scopes, methodologies, work plans, assumptions, exclusions, and deliverables.
• Develop accurate, risk-assessed, and fully auditable estimates aligned with project WBS and CBS structures.
• Source labour rates and productivity factors, perform benchmarking and cost analysis, and validate estimates.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, and construction teams and support independent estimate reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise estimators while reporting to project and estimating leadership.

Requirements

• Significant estimating experience in energy, chemicals, offshore, onshore, and energy transition sectors.
• Experience preparing estimates for studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard estimating methodologies and practices.
• Experience presenting estimates and cost strategies to clients, project teams, and senior management.
• Ability to assess project risks, uncertainties, and contingencies.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and estimating software skills, including ACCE.
