Quantity Surveyor (Energy)

Location: Preston Brook, with work across various UK project sites

What you will do

• Manage commercial aspects of energy infrastructure projects from award through closeout.
• Maximise income, control costs, manage project risks, and support profitability and cash management.
• Operate the change control system and administer contracts and the full subcontract cycle.
• Produce CVRs, cost forecasts, weekly cost-to-complete reviews, and monthly financial performance reports.
• Review site records, attend project progress meetings, and provide commercial advice to delivery teams.
• Build collaborative relationships with clients, subcontractors, and wider project teams while supporting dispute resolution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree educated, HND/HNC equivalent, or working towards a relevant professional qualification.
• Suitable experience in a contracting commercial department, preferably within the energy industry.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
• Availability to work across various UK project sites.

• Driving licence.
• Professional qualification or active progress towards one.
