Principal Engineer Reliability – RF Reliability (Semiconductor)

Salary: $85,000–$146,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive reliability planning, testing, assessments, and qualification for RF-SOI, RF-SiGe, and RF-GaN technology offerings.
• Provide test structure design input and participate in test vehicle design reviews.
• Lead root cause analysis, failure analysis activities, corrective actions, and continuous FMEA updates.
• Prepare qualification plans and reports for internal and external customers.
• Support reliability laboratory operations and coordinate sample preparation and test-time allocation.
• Collaborate with integration, device, design, and other cross-functional teams to address reliability challenges.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of semiconductor technology and reliability engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in device and reliability physics, accelerated test methodologies, and reliability modeling.
• Working knowledge of HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM, and SM reliability mechanisms.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional semiconductor reliability environment in Malta, New York.

Nice to have

• More than five years of semiconductor technology and product reliability engineering experience.
• Experience with RF device performance and reliability.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
