What you will do

• Deliver cryptographic solutions to internal BT customers and potentially enterprise customers.
• Configure and support cryptographic platform devices across appliances, virtual machines, firmware, and software.
• Perform network health checks and validation activities.
• Provide first- and second-line support for deployed solutions before handover to operational teams.
• Use Linux for troubleshooting, scripting, and system checks.

Requirements

• University or industry background in mathematics or computer science.
• Basic understanding of PKI and cryptographic concepts, with the capability and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of network security.
• Hands-on experience with operating systems, particularly Linux distributions.
• Ability to work at the Ipswich, United Kingdom location.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognised technical security certification or progress toward one.
• Understanding of the business impact of poor cryptographic service design and operations.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Bash and Ansible.
