Sourcing and Category Expert Marketing, Media and Insurance

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for insurance, marketing, media, advertising, market research, and related supplier services.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects, define sourcing approaches, assess risks, and manage supplier selection.
• Prepare and conduct complex negotiations while managing supplier relationships, escalations, and conflicts.
• Coordinate buyers and procurement teams across multiple geographies, including RFX, contracting, and third-party risk management activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders and senior leaders to create value, manage demand, and support regulatory compliance.
• Coach buyers and act as a subject-matter expert for marketing, media, insurance, and bank-assurance categories.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of procurement experience, preferably in a strategic role within an international financial services organization.
• More than 5 years of category-specific experience in marketing and media and/or insurance.
• Experience delivering procurement value, working with senior stakeholders, and coordinating offshore teams.
• Perfectly fluent business English, spoken and written, is required.
• Strong project management, negotiation, analytical, legal, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of procurement regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
