Senior Director, People - Americas & Global People Operations

Location: SoHo, New York City, United States — Hybrid

Salary: $165,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR business partner to Americas leadership, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and team health.
• Own global People Operations infrastructure, policies, service levels, HRIS integrations, platform architecture, and vendor relationships.
• Lead people-related workstreams for M&A activity and business transformations, including cultural alignment, compensation, retention, and employee communications.
• Direct enterprise talent programs covering succession planning, high-potential development, compensation cycles, performance cycles, and workforce analytics.
• Oversee HR governance, employee handbooks, compliance frameworks, sensitive employee relations matters, and employment-risk mitigation with Legal.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience across HRBP leadership, People Operations or COE ownership, and hands-on M&A integration.
• Experience defining HR metrics, specifying dashboards, evaluating survey methodologies, and making HR platform architecture decisions.
• Ability to advise senior executives while executing operational processes in a fast-paced, globally matrixed environment.
• Deep expertise in employment law, compliance, governance frameworks, and complex workforce issues.
• Track record of scaling HR operations, developing manager effectiveness programs, and introducing modern HR tools and practices.
