Senior Director HR, SPG Central Functions (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Full-time onsite role with approximately 20% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Lead the HR partnership for Engineering, Operations, Strategy, and Corporate Quality within SPG Central Functions.
• Partner with senior executives on organization design, talent strategy, workforce planning, succession, and organizational health.
• Use workforce and business data to identify risks and support executive-level decisions.
• Lead restructuring, integration, and workforce transition initiatives across multiple functions.
• Coach senior leaders and influence behavior and decisions across distinct technical, operational, strategic, and quality-focused cultures.
• Lead and develop a global team of HR Business Partners and HR professionals, including Director-level HRBPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR Business Partner experience with senior executives in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Experience leading and developing a global HRBP team, including Director-level HRBPs.
• Experience with organization design, workforce planning, and talent strategy across multiple functions in technology, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using workforce and business data for executive decisions.
• Ability to coach and influence senior executives, manage complexity, and balance enterprise priorities with function-specific and regional interests.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS/MA in HR or Organizational Development.
• HR leadership experience in a global semiconductor, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing company.
• Experience with growth, restructuring, M&A integration, shared services, or HR Centers of Excellence.
• Experience supporting corporate strategy or quality and compliance functions.
