Data Analyst III, Care Navigation (Healthcare)

Location: Remote

Salary: $92,000–$135,000 per year, determined by geographic location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Develop operational analytics using eligibility, medical claims, and member interaction data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities in care navigation.
• Integrate data from NIC, claims, Typeform, and Salesforce into reliable reporting datasets for operational and client-facing use.
• Support lightweight data engineering initiatives, including DAG development, automated file ingestion, and report delivery controls.
• Build BI dashboards and data stories in tools such as Tableau and Metabase to evaluate clinical management programs and recurring measures of effectiveness.
• Provide strategic and ad hoc analysis for care management and population health programs while partnering with internal teams and clients.
• Identify AI opportunities, assess technical challenges, and recommend responsible approaches for operationalizing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expert SQL and relational database skills, plus proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
• Experience with version control, dbt or similar data transformation and documentation platforms, and cloud analytics services, preferably AWS.
• Strong BI and visualization experience with Tableau, Metabase, or comparable tools.
• 5–8 years of quantitative analytics and advanced analytic modeling experience with large healthcare datasets.
• Strong understanding of medical claims data, requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, responsible AI, and mentoring junior team members.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data best practices.
• Experience with Airflow or other data orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning, data science, PBM operations, and pharmacy claims.
