Data & Insights Analyst (AI)

Location: US - Austin, TX; office setting with 5–10% travel required

Salary: $93,500–$145,400 USD per year, plus potential bonus and equity

What you will do

• Design and maintain reusable data products, semantic models, analytical datasets, dashboards, and reports for Global Sourcing.
• Develop KPI analyses and reporting that identify trends, savings opportunities, operational insights, and business improvements.
• Extract and transform data from financial systems, ensuring dashboard accuracy, completeness, and usability.
• Partner with sourcing leaders, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder enablement, feedback sessions, training, and continuous user-experience improvements.
• Develop data governance protocols and identify opportunities to automate reporting and business processes with AI and workflow automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or Finance field.
• 4+ years of progressive business analytics experience; 6+ years preferred.
• Advanced SQL and relational database skills, with experience in enterprise data warehouses, semantic models, star schemas, and curated analytics datasets.
• Deep expertise with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing projects, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience with financial datasets and general ledger or cost center structures is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced degree in Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Experience with Python, Power Automate, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience using GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Background in operations, finance, supply chain, sourcing, or related functions.
