TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a platform that brings a two thousand year old profession into the digital age with an accent on designing and building scalable and maintainable features and systems. Focus on contributing to front-end architecture discussions and mentoring other team members.

Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office. Office attendance is required at least twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for collaboration and connection. There may be additional in-office days for team or company events.

Salary: $180,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to spec, design, and build features and systems.
• Create polished, accessible, and mobile-friendly user interfaces using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Contribute to front-end architecture discussions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Partner with quality engineers to define, build and maintain testing strategy
• Mentor and provide thoughtful feedback to others on the team
• Help interview and recruit talented engineers to hirify.global

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of software experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining complex web applications (a formal degree is not required, we are prioritizing industry experience)
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks like ReactJS.
• Passion for creating accessible, intuitive, and mobile friendly interfaces.
• Passion for software engineering to build and ship high quality products.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
