Senior Software Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States; office attendance is required at least twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with additional in-office days possible for team or company events.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 annual base salary, plus equity.

What you will do

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to specify, design, and build product features and systems.
• Create accessible, intuitive, polished, and mobile-friendly user interfaces with modern front-end technologies.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Partner with quality engineers to define, build, and maintain testing strategies.
• Mentor engineers, provide feedback, and participate in interviewing and recruiting.
• Work with TypeScript, React, Node, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React.
• Experience creating accessible and mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of delivering high-quality products.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Formal degree is not required; industry experience is prioritized.
