Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the U.S. In-person office hubs are available in Boston and New York.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity, PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Develop React and TypeScript web applications for EEG analysis, clinical study management, data analytics, and patient diagnostics.
• Design and implement UX workflows for clinical studies, physician diagnostics, and study participant enrollment.
• Own the user experience, performance, reliability, and observability of web applications and features.
• Partner with product designers and cross-functional teams to build user-centric capabilities for diverse personas.
• Shape the roadmap and technical direction of web applications.
• Build features for clinical-trial insight visualization, AI-supported diagnostic reports, enrollment management, and compliance tracking.

Requirements

• 8+ years of front-end web development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building data-rich applications with interactive visualization and large-scale data manipulation.
• Product mindset with strong attention to UX, edge cases, and performance.
• Experience with GraphQL-based APIs and scalable API consumers.
• Ability to identify optimization bottlenecks and use debugging and code-profiling tools.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, asynchronous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical trials, patients, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with EEG or digital signal processing.
• Experience with back-end systems or infrastructure.
• Contributions to open-source React and TypeScript projects.
