Automation Engineer (Semiconductor Process Automation)

What you will do

• Drive automation and process control strategies to improve productivity and asset effectiveness.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot control strategies for manufacturing technologies with operations and engineering teams.
• Lead capital and expense projects from design through implementation, commissioning, and validation.
• Manage vendors and system integrators and support start-ups, test runs, and operational issue resolution.
• Oversee PLC/DCS, robotics, AMR, instrumentation, HMIs, servers, routers, switches, and process control networks.
• Develop MES and historian data integration strategies and provide automation capability training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience with process automation and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC, robotics or AMR, troubleshooting, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Knowledge of PSM, SIS lifecycle requirements, alarm management, and industrial cybersecurity standards.
• Strong project leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Korean and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DeltaV or Rockwell PLC/HMI.
• Experience with machine vision, ML, or AI.
