Engineer II, Field Services

What you will do

• Ship, install, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain solid source delivery cabinets and liquid delivery systems for multiple customers.
• Perform hardware part replacements and software upgrades based on customer requests and improvement plans.
• Replace ampoules, canisters, and cylinders according to standard operating procedures, including leak checks and pressure monitoring.
• Handle chemicals in accordance with applicable Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Manage customer evaluations, respond quickly to issues, and minimize customer complaints through clear communication.
• Coordinate technical issue resolution with account teams, supply chain, business units, and R&D, while training customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of semiconductor field support or service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, materials, or chemical engineering.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize projects and activities, and demonstrate leadership, creativity, and innovation.

Nice to have

• Experience with vacuum valves, pressure gauges, mass flow controllers, regulators, fittings, or switches.
• Experience with electrical controls, PLC modules, or relays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or MS Project.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
