ETCH Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Pyeongtaek-NF Summit, South Korea; on-site work is required, including cleanroom and safety requirements. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment alongside Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate and coordinate directly with customers to support equipment operation.
• Work in cleanroom environments and follow required safety, environmental, and site protocols.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer or field service support, or a related technical field; 2–4 years is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and diagnose basic technical issues.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet on-site physical and safety requirements.
