North America Transport Operations Lead (Supply Chain)

Location: Raynham, Massachusetts, United States; remote work is available as an alternative within North America. The role requires up to 25–30% regional and international travel.

Salary: $102,000–$204,000 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Manage transportation flows from manufacturing sites and global hubs through regional hubs, distribution centers, hospitals, and distributors.
• Lead relationships with third-party and fourth-party logistics providers, including global control tower partners.
• Measure transportation reliability, service performance, cost improvement, and productivity across North America.
• Translate inventory strategy and business requirements into transportation solutions for network changes and product launches.
• Partner with supply chain, trade compliance, quality, finance, legal, distribution, and planning functions to resolve issues and maintain compliant product movement.
• Represent transportation in supply chain projects, sales and operations planning, and process transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, international trade, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, transportation, trade compliance, logistics, or related operations.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and import/export operations in North America.
• Expertise in transportation planning, carrier and logistics-provider management, and control-tower operating models.
• Analytical, budgeting, financial reconciliation, risk management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with trade systems, transportation management systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, and visibility or automation tools.
• Lean or continuous improvement certification and experience with process standardization.
• Awareness of artificial intelligence concepts, responsible AI use, and effective prompting.
