Transportation Planner (Oracle Transportation Management)

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States. Onsite Monday through Thursday; Fridays offer flexibility based on work requirements.

Salary: $52,630.00–$74,340.00 base salary or hourly pay range.

What you will do

• Build, optimize, and tender daily shipment plans in Oracle Transportation Management for manufacturing and distribution facilities.
• Assign truckload shipments to carriers using routing guides, cost parameters, and service requirements.
• Coordinate with site leaders, carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders on capacity, delivery schedules, shipping updates, and delays.
• Maximize trailer utilization through truckload consolidation and routing standards.
• Resolve real-time transportation exceptions, loading and delivery bottlenecks, inventory inquiries, and operational escalations.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, analyze data, and support productivity, system enhancement, and operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with transportation management systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with customers, vendors, carriers, and colleagues.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capacity to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Davidson, North Carolina.
