Director, Project Controls, AMERS (Data Centers)

Location: Hybrid role based in North America, with regular travel of approximately 25–40% to active project sites, contractor offices, and Nscale locations.

Salary: $160,000–$270,000 USD base salary, with potential eligibility for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the North American scheduling organization, including scheduling leads, schedulers, and planners.
• Own the portfolio-level integrated master schedule across site selection, utility power, procurement, construction, commissioning, and customer handover.
• Establish scheduling standards covering WBS, activity coding, calendars, baselines, update cadence, governance, and templates.
• Assess schedule quality, critical paths, milestones, dependencies, capacity dates, and delivery threats across projects and contractors.
• Lead quantitative schedule risk analysis, contingency planning, delay analysis, time impact analysis, and recovery planning.
• Provide executive and customer-facing schedule reporting and improve enterprise scheduling, risk analysis, and dashboard systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large capital projects, including at least 5 years leading scheduling or project controls teams.
• Experience with mission-critical or complex facilities valued at $500M+, such as data centers, power generation, substations, semiconductor, or comparable industrial projects.
• Expert CPM scheduling knowledge and hands-on mastery of Primavera P6 in multi-project and enterprise environments.
• Experience with quantitative schedule risk analysis, schedule quality assessment, and delay or time impact analysis.
• Experience establishing scheduling standards, governance, and reporting in a fast-growing organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with strong executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale or colocation data center program experience, including multi-site, phased campus delivery, and integrated L1–L5 commissioning.
• AACE PSP, PMI-SP, AACE CCP, or PMP certification.
• Owner-side scheduling leadership across EPC, CM-at-risk, and design-build contracts.
• Forensic schedule analysis, claims support, Primavera P6 EPPM, schedule analytics, or Power BI dashboard implementation experience.
