Project Controls Scheduler (Construction)

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, United States; the position supports projects throughout the United States.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain critical path logic networks, bar charts, and project schedules.
• Load resources and costs into schedules when required and provide weekly and monthly updates.
• Report schedule status, project costs, and forecasts to project staff and management.
• Provide project controls expertise and manage project controls processes.
• Support compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory, jurisdictional, and safety standards.
• Maintain positive business relationships and provide on-call or varied-schedule support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in scheduling and cost controls.
• Ability to review confidential US security information.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, construction sequencing, and scheduling logic.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the resident state.
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, technical, and independent-work skills.

Nice to have

• Engineering, technical, or industry-related education.
• Government construction experience.
• Renewable energy construction scheduling experience.
