Senior Sourcing Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Menlo Park, California; New York, New York; or Chicago, Illinois offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Base pay: $129,000–$152,000 USD for Zone 3, $146,000–$172,000 USD for Zone 2, or $166,000–$195,000 USD for Zone 1, depending on work location. Additional bonus, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Own sourcing and contracting strategies for assigned vendor categories and cost centers.
• Conduct market research, identify vendors, run competitive bidding, lead negotiations, and manage contract execution.
• Partner with Business Owners, Commercial Legal, Risk, Finance, Tax, and other senior stakeholders to deliver savings and reduce risk.
• Use metrics, data visualization, analytics, and AI-powered automation to identify opportunities and track return on investment.
• Develop category management plans and optimize the third-party vendor and partner footprint.
• Drive cost rationalization and proactively influence upcoming contract renewals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor or third-party contracting, procurement consulting, procurement program management, or process reengineering.
• Experience within Financial Services or FinTech.
• Expert knowledge of contract negotiation, particularly for Cloud Services, Software, and Digital Marketing categories.
• Experience incorporating risk and performance management into sourcing and contracting processes.
• Fluency using AI for work acceleration and familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, written communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
