Assistant Manager, HSE (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Manage health, safety, and environmental responsibilities across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Provide day-to-day EHS support at manufacturing sites and work with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and QSR facility requirements, NOM and other safety regulations.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and municipal requirements.
• Handle departmental work according to established procedures and resolve exceptional cases appropriately.
• Lead special projects and contribute to HSE team development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Experience with facilities management across different locations and with expansion projects.
• Training in safety regulations, leadership, and insurer regulations.
• Good command of English, both oral and written.
• Registered Safety and Health Officer certification is preferred.
