Senior Staff IT Product Lead (Microsoft 365 Enterprise)

Location: Alameda, California, United States; occasional travel to company sites, conferences, or vendor locations may be required.

Base salary: $190,000–$239,500 per year, plus discretionary annual bonus, equity and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, architecture, governance, roadmap, and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Proofpoint Email Security, and enterprise messaging services.
• Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, highly available messaging solutions, including mail flow, domains, connectors, SMTP relay, hybrid integrations, and SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TLS controls.
• Drive evaluation and prioritization of Microsoft 365 initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and compliance requirements.
• Lead product development and delivery across the lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices, collaborating with engineering, architecture, QA, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Advance automation, monitoring, governance, operational intelligence, documentation, disaster recovery, and engineering standards using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Copilot, and related technologies.
• Support platform stability, performance, security, regulatory compliance, data management, AI practices, and continuous improvement through metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or engineering with 7 years of related experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.
• Minimum of 5 years supporting enterprise-wide platforms.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive IT experience focused on digital workplace or product management.
• Proven experience leading product development teams in an agile, product-centric operating model.
• Demonstrated success defining and delivering complex digital products that create significant business value.
• Experience with relevant SaaS platforms or cloud solutions, such as Microsoft, Veeva, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance, including relevant requirements such as GxP, HIPAA, or GDPR.
