Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Toronto GTA, hybrid

Salary: CA$165,000–CA$200,000 per year, plus potential equity and other total rewards.

hirify.global builds data infrastructure for robotics and embodied AI, including data capture, labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.

What you will do

• Build and maintain production web applications for data labeling, data capture, and country and operations management.
• Develop responsive, intuitive interfaces for non-technical users and international operations teams using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Build backend services and REST or GraphQL APIs with Node.js and/or Python.
• Implement permissions, retries, data integrity controls, background workflows, and other operational business logic.
• Integrate practical AI capabilities such as automated validation, normalization, workflow triggers, search, and internal tooling.
• Own features from design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and production improvement.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications in production.
• Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python, REST or GraphQL APIs, relational databases, PostgreSQL, and ORMs.
• Ability to work across the stack, ship features independently, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Daily use of AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude.
• Clear communication and comfort collaborating with operations, product, leadership, and other non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure and deployment practices such as CI/CD and Docker.
• Experience or strong interest in LLM API integrations, prompt engineering, document extraction, or vector search.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL workflows, or data-intensive operations.
• Consulting, client-facing, startup, React Native, or design-system experience.
