Full Stack Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in California, USA

Salary: $129,300–$172,300 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable applications in Azure.
• Build full-stack web applications and distributed services using Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Design and integrate AI capabilities, including LLM services, RAG-based solutions, agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and Azure OpenAI integrations.
• Implement AI orchestration and inference pipelines with attention to performance, cost efficiency, observability, privacy, security, governance, and compliance.
• Apply testing, monitoring, CI/CD, secure SDLC, and observability practices to production systems.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders, troubleshoot production issues, influence technical direction, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Azure cloud-native applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, object-oriented programming, design patterns, application architecture, and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, code reviews, mentoring, Agile development, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities such as Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI APIs, or vector databases.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, application observability, and OpenTelemetry; familiarity with Ruby on Rails or willingness to learn it.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS cloud experience.
