Full Stack Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in California, USA

Salary: $129,300–$172,300 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native applications in Azure.
• Build full-stack solutions with Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Develop and integrate AI capabilities including Azure OpenAI, LLM services, RAG solutions, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation.
• Implement AI orchestration and inference pipelines with strong performance, cost efficiency, observability, privacy, security, and governance.
• Apply testing, monitoring, CI/CD, secure SDLC, and observability practices while troubleshooting production issues.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, UX, DevOps, Security, and business stakeholders; mentor engineers and influence technical direction.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience using Python and building cloud-native applications in Azure; AWS experience is also considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, object-oriented programming, design patterns, application architecture, and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, code reviews, mentoring, Agile development, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities such as Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or AI APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Ruby on Rails or willingness to learn it, and OpenTelemetry is valued.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or willingness to learn it.
