Technician 4, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance

What you will do

• Lead equipment sustaining activities to maintain high uptime and stable manufacturing operations.
• Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and root cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and control systems.
• Support engineers in improving OEE, MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and equipment reliability.
• Coordinate technician support for machine conversions, upgrades, and engineering projects.
• Review failure trends, manage critical spares, and recommend maintenance and reliability improvements.
• Guide and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and production teams.

Requirements

• Diploma or Advanced/Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with sputtering equipment, vacuum systems, or semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
• Experience guiding or mentoring junior technicians, with effective teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in sputter media or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of high-vacuum technology, plasma processes, or thin-film deposition systems.
