Repair and Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Develop proactive work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
• Create, manage, and close work orders with accurate labor, equipment, and parts data in the asset management system.
• Lead audits of preventive maintenance procedures and maintain optimal equipment performance.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain facility systems while responding to abnormal conditions.
• Troubleshoot non-operational equipment and perform modifications as directed by test or manufacturing engineers.
• Coordinate departmental work, mentor lower-level roles, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, higher secondary education, equivalent work experience, or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 8 or more years of related experience in equipment diagnosis, technical repair, blueprint reading, or a related field.
• Knowledge of equipment repair, preventive maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, machinery, mechanics, and hand and power tools.
• Ability to document repairs, inspections, installations, service logs, and parts replacement accurately.
• Strong communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
• Available for approximately 50% travel.
