What you will do

• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes of defects in integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems.
• Define and implement failure analysis strategies to improve yield, quality, and product reliability.
• Perform laboratory evaluations of the electrical and mechanical characteristics of materials and devices.
• Develop electrical, analytical, and mechanical failure analysis methodologies for future technologies and products.
• Support technology and product transfers, manufacturing startups, and automation improvements in failure analysis processes.
• Analyze failure reports, recommend corrective actions, and share findings across sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 0–1 years of hands-on experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or training, or a relevant master’s degree with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical testing methods and tools.
• Fundamental knowledge of material-device interactions and analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
