Maintenance Technician I (Medical Devices)

hirify.global develops medical devices and the OmniPod Insulin Management System to support diabetes care and subcutaneous drug delivery.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process equipment.
• Repair electrical and mechanical systems and perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues to maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, and supervisory personnel.
• Support the creation and execution of preventive maintenance schedules and help resolve quality, process, and safety defects.
• Support operators with equipment adjustments, setups, and changeovers.
• Develop and train standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvement through data analysis and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Certificate in engineering or final-year Diploma in Engineering from a local institute.
• Quality-conscious, self-directed, motivated, and willing to train others.
• Ability to use tools to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of each shift and walk for at least 50% of each shift.
• Ability to reach above the shoulder, push and pull, and lift up to 20 lb occasionally and 5–20 lb frequently.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
