Senior Business Systems Analyst (NetSuite)

What you will do

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Business Applications, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and external vendors to define outcomes and prioritize requirements.
• Lead process discovery, current- and future-state mapping, functional design, and solution delivery across Invoice-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.
• Configure and optimize NetSuite roles, permissions, workflows, custom records, saved searches, reports, dashboards, forms, approvals, and SuiteAnalytics.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteCloud Development Framework, APIs, integrations, and data migrations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close by monitoring jobs and integrations, diagnosing issues, and coordinating resolution.
• Lead release readiness, incident and problem management, vendor coordination, documentation, and governed AI or intelligent automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of business systems analysis, ERP, financial systems, or related experience, including significant hands-on NetSuite responsibility in a complex enterprise environment.
• Expert knowledge of the full accounting lifecycle, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, tax, revenue accounting, consolidation, foreign currency, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite financial functionality, integrations, APIs or middleware, requirements analysis, functional design, testing, UAT, release readiness, and production support.
• Working knowledge of SOX controls, IT general controls, segregation of duties, audit evidence, and financial compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle close-cycle incidents calmly.

Nice to have

• NetSuite certification or equivalent expertise, including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteCloud Development Framework, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics Connect, SuiteQL, Advanced PDF, and NetSuite2.com data sources.
• Experience with subscription billing, revenue recognition, tax, banking, consolidation, intercompany accounting, foreign exchange, and multi-subsidiary operations.
• Experience with Salesforce, Zuora, procurement tools, banking integrations, Solution 7, or financial planning and reporting platforms.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, including application through NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management.
• Experience using AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation in Finance with controls, governance, monitoring, and value measurement.
