Atlassian IT Service Manager

Location: Remote from Virginia, United States

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize Jira and Confluence environments.
• Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and translate them into Atlassian configurations.
• Design and implement Jira Service Management solutions, forms, reports, workflows, custom fields, permissions, and notifications.
• Support the migration from Atlassian Datacenter to Atlassian Government Cloud.
• Document system processes and configurations and deliver user training.
• Collaborate with federal customers and stakeholders to improve workflows, collaboration, and mission delivery.

Requirements

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 7 years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence for software development or operations teams.
• Experience developing Jira Service Management solutions.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and their implementation in Jira.
• Experience with forms and reporting design, data modeling, scalable configuration, and federal consulting or government contracting.

Nice to have

• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator certification.
• Experience designing, prototyping, and implementing Atlassian solutions that improve team productivity.
• Experience managing plug-ins, extensions, integrations, Confluence spaces, templates, and Jira integrations.
• Experience gathering business requirements, optimizing workflows, and aligning configurations with business processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and user training material development.
