Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, USA. Hybrid schedule with three full days per week in the San Francisco office and remaining days worked remotely. Candidates must be based in the area or willing to relocate.

Base salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility and equity.

What you will do

• Manage month-end close activities and keep deliverables accurate and on schedule.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Own assigned financial statement areas and ensure balances are accurate and well supported.
• Partner with Finance to resolve accounting questions and support financial reporting and audits.
• Improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls as the business scales.

Requirements

• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Collaborative and proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate for a hybrid role.
