Controller (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Fully in-person in San Francisco or Palo Alto, United States

Salary: $300,000–$450,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and lead the accounting function end to end as the company scales.
• Own month-end close, financial statements, US GAAP, revenue recognition, audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Establish the close process, chart of accounts, accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Develop technical positions on usage-based revenue, compute commitments, and cost treatment.
• Select and implement core accounting, finance, and revenue operations systems.
• Build and lead the accounting team while partnering with finance, revenue operations, legal, and other functions.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth technology companies.
• Experience establishing an accounting function and making strong accounting hires.
• CPA qualification and Big 4 background.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, especially usage-based revenue models.
• Experience selecting and implementing accounting systems, automating manual work, and using AI tools.
• Willingness to work fully in person between the Palo Alto headquarters and San Francisco office.
