Senior Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop advanced electrical designs and documentation for complex electromechanical and electronics-based systems.
• Design simulation wiring and electrical solutions using OEM data, CAD tools, and established engineering processes.
• Coordinate technical activities with lead engineers, peers, project personnel, program management, and customers.
• Lead process, tooling, and productivity improvements for the Electrical/Electronics group.
• Plan and execute engineering work within approved cost and schedule budgets.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and prepare reports for internal and customer reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of related experience, including at least 4 years in simulation or the aircraft industry.
• Working knowledge of electrical design processes, CAD applications, electrical circuitry, and simulation wiring.
• Understanding of NFPA 70: National Electrical Code and familiarity with IEC standards.
• Ability to develop, test, modify, implement, and evaluate electrical engineering designs, procedures, and processes.
• Must be eligible for a Department of Defense personal security clearance. Must be available for overtime, off-shift work, and CONUS/OCONUS travel.
