BioProcess Downstream Hardware Sales Specialist

Location: Remote from South Korea, covering customers across Korea; domestic and international travel required

What you will do

• Drive downstream hardware sales by identifying opportunities connected to purification workflows, facility investments, scale-up, GMP requirements, and capacity expansion.
• Partner with Account Managers on account strategies, qualified funnels, SFDC opportunity management, and forecasting.
• Provide technical and commercial consultation on chromatography systems, process columns, automated downstream systems, and hardware configurations.
• Lead or support customer meetings, presentations, site visits, workshops, equipment discussions, technical clarifications, quotations, tenders, and proposals.
• Review URS, equipment lists, process and utility requirements, documentation expectations, project scope, lead times, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate execution with Sales, Modality, Service, Commercial Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, and regional or global teams; deliver training and technical workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, biotechnology, chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial, application, technical support, or product specialist roles in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, CDMO, or life science equipment.
• Proficiency with chromatography systems, process columns, bioprocess equipment, or automated process systems.
• Experience supporting technical proposals, tenders, customer workshops, or capital equipment projects.
• Fluent English and Korean required in written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required; foreign nationals must have legal work authorization in South Korea.

Nice to have

• Experience with GMP manufacturing equipment, automated process systems, or large equipment opportunities.
• Experience reviewing URS, equipment lists, utility requirements, documentation requirements, or project scope.
• Experience supporting strategic projects, tenders, proposals, and technical clarifications with regional or global teams.
