Biacore & Consumables Sales Specialist

Location: Remote, covering customers across Korea; based in South Korea with a valid Korean work permit required for foreign nationals.

What you will do

• Drive revenue and order targets for the Protein Research portfolio, with primary responsibility for the Biacore business.
• Provide scientific and commercial consultation on biomolecular interaction analysis, including binding kinetics, affinity, specificity, and concentration analysis using SPR technologies.
• Manage forecasts, sales pipelines, market expansion strategies, and new business opportunities across cross-operating-company accounts.
• Identify opportunities related to AI-enabled drug discovery, computational biology, protein design, and next-generation therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Field Application Specialists, Product Management, Marketing, and channel partners.
• Deliver customer presentations, seminars, workshops, product demonstrations, and maintain accurate CRM records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in biochemistry, protein science, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related life sciences field; a PhD is preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant research, field application, product management, or commercial experience in biotechnology or biopharmaceuticals.
• Hands-on experience with Biacore, bio-layer interferometry, or another biomolecular interaction analysis platform.
• Knowledge of protein interactions, antibody characterization, binding kinetics, affinity analysis, drug discovery, or biologics development.
• Strong customer communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Korean are required; a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, ability to travel abroad, and legal authorization to work in South Korea are required.
