Senior UX UI Designer

Location: Sacramento, CA, United States. The role may require driving to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities.

Salary: $98,000–$102,326.45 per year, depending on level.

What you will do

• Define and implement UX/UI design criteria, guidelines, specifications, and visual design standards across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
• Translate business needs and complex organizational requirements into user experience solutions.
• Conduct competitive analysis, user and stakeholder interviews, analytics assessments, and heuristic evaluations.
• Create storyboards, process flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and thoughtful interactions to guide development.
• Develop production-ready, cross-browser frontend code using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Lead final design approvals, collaborate with executives, developers, and subject-matter experts, and provide training and guidance to UX/UI designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2–5+ years of UX/UI experience; the qualifications also reference 5+ years of web application and interface design experience.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Proven portfolio demonstrating clean, intuitive, functional UX/UI design for mobile and responsive experiences.
• Experience with wireframes, mockups, process flow diagrams, interaction design, and web browser capabilities across platforms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, communicate with leadership, and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
