EHS Support Specialist

Location: Post Falls, Idaho, United States; onsite role with physical work requirements.

Salary: $25.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete Environmental Health & Safety processes according to defined procedures under the guidance of experienced staff.
• Support program administration, documentation, status updates, and communication with internal teams and customers.
• Promote awareness of EHS standards and identify opportunities to improve documentation and work instructions.
• Develop foundational capability in one EHS discipline, such as incident management, risk assessment, waste management, or industrial hygiene.
• Participate in collaborative problem-solving, process improvement, and safety culture initiatives.
• Apply SEL values, operating principles, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Two years of relevant experience.
• Efficient use of Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, take on responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently; sit and stand for at least eight hours; and perform reaching, bending, and twisting.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience working with EHS.
• Experience with materials management processes.
• Ability to read and interpret regulatory standards.
