Cleared System Administrator (Aerospace)

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Build, secure, accredit, and operate IT infrastructure for classified operational environments.
• Install and maintain CWAN, DISN, SIPR, and/or JWICS networks.
• Deploy and support classified-compliant workstations, peripherals, and end-user systems.
• Manage endpoints across macOS, Windows, and Linux, including configuration, patching, and security.
• Administer identity and access management using SSO, MFA, and RBAC.
• Coordinate with the Information Systems Security Manager and Facility Security Officer to support classified mission execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting corporate or enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with internal networks, VPNs, Wi-Fi, office infrastructure, and endpoint management.
• Strong understanding of corporate IT security best practices and experience owning systems end-to-end.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment with minimal process overhead.
• Must meet U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or other MDM platforms.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, and other cloud-based IT tools.
• Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams and compliance-driven environments such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP-adjacent workflows.
• Scripting or automation experience for streamlining IT operations.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a U.S. Government SECRET clearance and experience with classified or controlled-access environments.
