Network Administrator III

Location: Onsite in Winter Park, Florida, United States

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead network projects and develop detailed network specifications for new initiatives.
• Design, install, test, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, Internet, and data transport topologies.
• Manage routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, multi-ISP/WAN load balancing, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, security audits, log analysis, and network performance monitoring.
• Support VPN, Zero Trust, cloud-based remote access, VoIP, data center equipment, and Windows/Linux IP networks.
• Investigate security incidents, conduct response drills, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or 7+ years of network administration experience or training.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity products, tuning network performance, designing LANs, and administering Cisco routers and switches.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Zabbix, or similar network monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Windows and Linux knowledge; experience with VMware ESXi Hypervisor.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills; occasional travel is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Meraki and Sophos Cloud Management.
