Sr IT Systems Administrator

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; workplace: onsite.

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 USD yearly, plus equity incentives, annual performance bonus, and benefits.

hirify.global is a technology startup building Physical AI systems for commercial autonomous trucks and robotaxis, with offices in Toronto, San Francisco, Dallas, and Pittsburgh.

What you will do

• Provide onsite technical support for San Francisco employees across hardware, software, networking, access, peripherals, printers, conference rooms, and A/V systems.
• Administer endpoint management for Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, including enrollment, configuration, security policies, application deployment, compliance, and device lifecycle management.
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, permissions, identity platforms, SSO integrations, and SaaS application access.
• Administer and maintain Linux servers and workstations, including patching, scripting, monitoring, performance troubleshooting, and security hardening.
• Support office networks, physical IT infrastructure, engineering and lab environments, and technology projects with Facilities and vendors.
• Improve IT workflows, documentation, automation, security controls, and scalable support processes while participating in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, desktop support, or IT operations.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments and administering endpoint tools such as Intune, JumpCloud, Jamf, or similar platforms.
• Experience with identity and access management, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, SAML, and SCIM.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, office infrastructure, and user-facing technologies.
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools, plus familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco and participate in an IT support on-call rotation. Ability to lift and move materials up to approximately 50 pounds is also required.
