What you will do

• Investigate material defects throughout the plant, determine their sources, and recommend process changes.
• Analyze mechanical testing and metallography data alongside processing history to identify trends and unacceptable process conditions.
• Observe and monitor experimental material lots during processing.
• Apply materials science and data analysis to support manufacturing process improvements.
• Collaborate with plant and technical personnel to communicate findings and develop solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related materials or metallurgy discipline.
• Interest in working in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of fundamental materials science and metallurgy concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and technical data interprethirify.globalon skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborhirify.globalvely with manufacturing and technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communichirify.globalon skills.
