Quality Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing role with limited travel for workshops and trade shows.

What you will do

• Implement manufacturing process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Identify methods for automating processes with program mentors and project champions.
• Apply structured engineering approaches to improve process control and production yields.
• Create and update process documentation and work instructions.
• Lead capital project efforts addressing production capacity and technology capability issues.
• Present project updates to local leadership and participate in limited travel for workshops and trade shows.

Requirements

• Current college junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, or Industrial Engineering.
• Programming experience is required.
• Experience applying engineering concepts to solve problems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
