Medical Science Liaison (Oncology Genomics)

Location: Remote, field-based role with travel of up to approximately 50% across the assigned territory; ideally based near a major airport.

hirify.global is recruiting for an innovative precision oncology organisation developing genomic testing technologies for personalised cancer management.

What you will do

• Serve as a field-based scientific expert supporting an oncology genomics portfolio, including a tumour-informed ctDNA assay for minimal residual disease detection.
• Deliver clinical and scientific presentations, workshops, grand rounds, and educational sessions for healthcare professionals and academic audiences.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and identify opportunities for advisory boards, speaker programmes, and research collaborations.
• Support clinical trial sites, investigators, investigator-initiated studies, and company-sponsored studies throughout study execution.
• Develop and review scientific materials, including slides, publications, and training content.
• Gather field insights on oncology, MRD, ctDNA, and precision medicine to inform internal strategy and development.

Requirements

• Minimum Master's degree in life sciences, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field; a PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• Background in oncology, molecular biology, or precision medicine.
• Understanding of genomics, biomarkers, liquid biopsy, or next-generation sequencing.
• Strong scientific communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Self-motivated, organised, collaborative, and effective in a remote, field-based role.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 50%, including overnight trips and occasional weekends.

Nice to have

• Previous Medical Science Liaison experience.
• Relevant clinical qualifications such as genetic counselling.
