Medical Science Liaison (Biotech)

Location: Fully remote within the designated U.S. region, covering Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Frequent domestic and international travel of up to 60–80% is required.

Salary: $187,000–$244,000 annual.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, academic institutions, researchers, payers, and healthcare organizations.
• Conduct scientific exchanges and present product, disease-state, and clinical data across hirify.global’s therapeutic areas.
• Identify medical experts, consultants, investigators, and clinical trial sites while supporting recruitment and issue resolution.
• Organize advisory boards and scientific forums, collecting and synthesizing healthcare professional insights for Medical Affairs, R&D, and Clinical Operations.
• Support Medical Affairs plans, clinical development initiatives, product planning, and appropriate patient access.
• Deliver product and disease-state training and mentoring to internal colleagues while documenting activities accurately and managing the assigned budget.

Requirements

• Advanced life sciences degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or NP/PA.
• At least 1 year of Medical Science Liaison experience, unless equivalent field medical experience or a combination of education and experience applies.
• Experience with rare or orphan diseases, pulmonary or respiratory diseases, and infectious diseases.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, relationship-building, networking, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the PhRMA Code of Conduct, Sunshine Act, HIPAA, promotional regulations, and applicable laws.
• Must reside in the designated region and be able to travel frequently, including periods with 50% or more travel.

• Medical information, medical strategy, clinical management, or clinical trial experience.
• Clinical or research experience outside the pharmaceutical industry.
• Health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, or population-based health management experience.
• Experience with the U.S. healthcare system and healthcare policy.
