Rental Services Account Manager (HVAC)

Location: Rocklin, California, United States. Customer engagement is prioritized, with collaboration from the office when not meeting customers. Travel to customer job sites is required, including outdoor work and mechanical or equipment rooms.

Annual base salary: $106,200–$161,210. Sales commission eligible.

What you will do

• Develop and close sales opportunities for emergency response rentals, cooling contingency plans, planned rentals, seasonal applications, and special events.
• Design accurate technical solutions based on customer requirements and available rental equipment.
• Prepare rental quotes and turnkey solution proposals from initial request through proposal delivery.
• Work with Rental Services teams to develop and coordinate vertical-market strategies.
• Coordinate equipment shipments and returns with the Rental Services fulfillment team.
• Travel to customer sites and work in variable weather, near moving mechanical parts, at heights, and in equipment rooms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC systems or rental equipment and services.
• Equivalent education and experience, or a bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or a related field.
• Applicants without a four-year degree may be considered based on practical experience and relevant skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations during the previous three years.
• Customer-site travel and work in safety-sensitive environments are required.
