TL;DR
Senior Program Manager, RF Mission Systems (Aerospace): Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of RF Mission Systems production programs for the BADGER product, with an accent on technical program delivery, stakeholder coordination, budgets, contracts, and production efficiency. Focus on managing complex DoD programs, transitioning products from engineering to manufacturing, mitigating schedule and delivery risks, and maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; hybrid work environment required. Occasional overnight travel is required. U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or qualifying asylee/refugee status is required. The position is subject to ITAR/EAR requirements and may require current U.S. citizenship for certain contracts.

Salary: $101,000–$154,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead RF Mission Systems production programs for the BADGER product from inception through completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance, Procurement, Contracts, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor milestones, deliverables, production metrics, KPIs, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Support the transition of products from design to manufacturing and drive efficiency and cost improvements.
  • Administer RF Mission Systems contracts, including deliverables, modifications, compliance, and scope control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM or program management discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing technical programs with budgets of $20 million or more.
  • Experience with technical, financial, and schedule briefings, production planning, and scheduling.
  • Experience with U.S. Department of Defense contracting and acquisition processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Top-Secret SCI clearance; U.S. person status is required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s or advanced degree in engineering or program management.
  • 10 or more years managing technical programs with budgets of $100 million or more.
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Project, Unanet ERP, satellite ground systems, or phased-array systems.
  • Experience in aerospace, DoD environments, proposal development, contract negotiation, or business development.
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
