Senior Program Manager/Program Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, supporting Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and a U.S. Air Force Program Office. Requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Tier 3 Secret security clearance, and travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

• Integrate Fighter/Bomber portfolio programs, capability planning, technology solutions, acquisition strategies, cost savings, and sustainment activities.
• Analyze warfighter requirements and develop capability needs, materiel solutions, acquisition plans, and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, testing, security, information management, and contracting activities.
• Conduct trade studies, systems-of-systems assessments, technology and manufacturing maturity assessments, life-cycle analyses, and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with Air Force program offices, engineering organizations, contractors, operational commands, research organizations, and higher headquarters.
• Prepare program documentation, briefings, status presentations, and meeting materials while providing guidance to junior and journeyman personnel.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least five years in the Department of Warfighting (DoW).
• Advanced program management expertise with the ability to independently perform complex tasks and oversee junior and journeyman personnel.
• U.S. Air Force Major Command expertise and knowledge of warfighter requirements, capability planning, acquisition processes, integrated weapon systems management, and life-cycle planning.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, briefing, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoW Tier 3 Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• USAF MAJCOM experience at Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Headquarters Air Combat Command, or Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command.
