Principal Program Manager (Radar Systems)

Location: Onsite in East Syracuse, New York, United States. Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for access to classified information. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Salary: $165,700–$223,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead the profitable execution of large-scale, complex ground-based or naval radar development programs.
• Own cost, schedule, technical performance, budgets, and program status across assigned portfolios.
• Drive Earned Value Management principles and use EVMS for internal and external reporting.
• Develop business growth strategies, IRAD plans, competitive proposals, and program capture initiatives.
• Build relationships with customers and large aerospace and defense industry primes.
• Guide junior program managers and support the development and retention of program management talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of program management experience involving $50M–$100M+ aerospace or defense program lifecycles.
• Experience designing, developing, and fielding large-scale radar systems, with in-depth knowledge of military or commercial radar markets and technologies.
• Experience negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements and leading aerospace and defense business capture efforts.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling, cost accounting, EVMS, and risk and opportunity management.
• U.S. citizenship is required; eligibility for classified-information access and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen are required.
