Location: San Jose, California; hybrid after an initial six-month full-time on-site ramp-up, with on-site work required three days per week afterward. U.S. citizenship or other qualifying U.S. person/export authorization status is required due to ITAR/EAR restrictions.
Salary: $174,000–$199,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations that deliver mission-critical Earth intelligence data, including climate monitoring and national security applications.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end planning and delivery of prototype, test, and flight spacecraft harnesses and interconnect assemblies.
- Deliver validated harnessing systems to Hardware-in-the-Loop testbeds supporting flight software development, verification, and mission simulations.
- Coordinate electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, and vehicle AI&T teams against assembly and integration milestones.
- Track program schedules, resources, risks, technical performance, and cost variance, and provide regular reporting.
- Manage procurement, fabrication, assembly, and testing of wire harnesses, connectors, contacts, backshells, and mechanical shielding.
- Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks, component lead-time risks, design changes, and manufacturing or testing issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering leadership, or hardware production management for complex electromechanical assemblies, cable harnesses, or aerospace hardware.
- Hands-on background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or wire harness manufacturing and testing.
- Experience managing harness production from routing schematics and pinout definition through procurement, wire assembly, continuity/hipot testing, and acceptance.
- Experience managing complex, multi-tiered, critical-path supply chains.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling and tracking tools.
- U.S. citizenship or another qualifying status under ITAR/EAR export-control requirements is required.
Nice to have
- Satellite or aerospace AI&T, vehicle interconnect manufacturing, or satellite constellation volume-production experience.
- Knowledge of space-grade wiring and crimping standards, including NASA-STD-8739.4 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Space Addendum.
- Experience with hardware/software integration environments, HITL simulators, and environmental or electrical cable acceptance testing.
- Experience with ERP/PLM and tracking tools such as Jira, Arena, Agile PLM, SAP, or similar platforms.
- PMP certification and experience with harness or mechanical CAD tools such as RapidHarness or SolidWorks.
