Technical Program Manager (Electrical Equipment)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle, United States

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

Build and operate large-scale compute infrastructure for frontier AI, including data centers and internally manufactured electrical equipment.

What you will do

• Own integrated programs for electrical equipment product lines from requirements through design release.
• Run concept, preliminary, and critical design reviews; record decisions and close actions.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Manage long-lead components, supplier qualification, and second sourcing against program schedules.
• Control specifications, drawings, bills of materials, and change requests.
• Report program status, risks, and spend to engineering leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management experience with electrical or electromechanical hardware designed and manufactured in-house.
• Experience taking at least one hardware product from concept through design release and first production lot.
• Understanding of design for manufacturing, configuration management, bills of materials, drawing packages, and test procedures.
• Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience managing component suppliers and sub-supplier qualification.
• Ability to write concise status updates for executives and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Electrical engineering degree or PE license.
• Experience with UL 891, UL 1558, or IEEE C37 product certifications.
• New product introduction experience in a low-volume, high-mix factory.
